HTML Display Components Updated March 21, 2006 The HTML component set consists of the ThtmlViewer , TFrameViewer, and TFrameBrowser components. All three are HTML document display components:.
Version 9 of these components supports most of the HTML 3.2 specifications with many additional popular HTML 4 enhancements. Many Cascading Style Sheet properties are also supported.
While HTML documents are normally associated with the Internet World Wide Web, they are also very useful for displaying all kinds of textual material such as documentation, helpfiles, etc. Graphics are easily incorporated in these documents. The demo versions of the HTML components, downloadable here, are suitable for product evaluation and also may be used without charge by hobbyists, students, occasional users, etc., for their own personal use or freeware applications. Users who are planning on using the HTML components in a product to be sold or commercially distributed to others or for company use, should purchase the Professional version. The demo packages contains a demo program with source, the VCL components (demo version), the helpfile, and sample HTML files. The demo package differs from the Professional version in that the VCL source is not included.
Be sure to download the TFrameBrowser Demo also. This is a new version of the TFrameBrowser demo program using the new Internet Direct (Indy) internet components. The demo now supports five protocols:
The precompiled FrameBrowzerId9 program is complete, self contained, and ready to run. Source code suitable for Delphi 4, 5, 6, 7, 2005, and 2006 is also included. However, to compile your own version for experimentation, you will need:
Complete instructions for downloading these items, compiling, and using the program are available by selecting Help|Demo Information on the FrameBrowzerId9 menu.

The ThtmlLite Browser Demo program is also included in this package. This version uses Indy version 9 which comes with Delphi's 7, 2005, and 2006.
